First thing is that we’d like to apologize for the high volumes of our videos. We realize they can sometimes be too loud and annoying. We are looking into working in our audio just as much as our video. When Which reminds me when I was young, I used to help my old buddy on his audio technician gig in a bar where a bunch of bands would play. We would mess around with the controls and every half min or so we would act like we heard something then slightly moved one of the many dials, so it looked as if we were actually doing something. Yeah, it was funny to us back then. We were just being silly. Back to the video “Residential Painters Allentown”.
It looks like we used a 6′ to 12′ Purdy Extension Pole and an 18 inch Purdy Roller Frame. For walls we mostly use a 3/8 nap. We could had reached the top of the wall standing from the floor but without delivering much force to push the paint into the top of the wall. So we got a little further from the wall and used a work bench to get us a bit higher so we can have leverage to deliver the amount of paint that the wall needs.
Most of our residential jobs get either Promar 200 0 VOC or Emerald. Both are from Sherwin Williams. In this job we used Sherwin Williams’ Emerald in a Matte sheen. The color was… I don’t remember what the color was. I might look into our notes and update this blog post in the future with the right color. I have been thinking about taking a before and after picture of every color we paint along with the name of the paint used, name of the color and sheen so that in case anyone likes the colors from the pictures, they’ll be able to know exactly what the color is. You know, like a color portfolio, Awesome Idea right?

We remember this job clearly. It’s one of those where you’re painting a house, then the neighbors walk up to you and ask for your phone number, so you paint their homes too. We often go months working from one neighbor to another, Just like the Beach Boys, We Get Around. We need to add that audio to one of our videos.
